Our custom cases are ATA Spec 300 compliant, designed to protect and move high value, sensitive, and delicate equipment and instruments that will be routinely and repetitively transported to trade shows, client demos, sales presentations/events, customer training, music or sporting events, or for field repair.

ATA Spec 300 establishes the airline transport industry's requirements for the design and manufacturing of effective packaging for supplies and equipment shipped to a customer airline and serve as the standards for shipping cases acceptable for air transport. ATA 300 compliant means a shipping case will withstand the rigors of being shipped a minimum of 100 times and that the case will have recessed handles that will not break during transit.

We manufacture 3 types of ATA compliant or style cases.

DYNACASE

DynaCase ATA 300 is our strongest case for strength and exposure. Construction is with solid-core hardwood plywood reinforced with 1/16" hand laid fiberglass and resin. We use hardwood plywood with a solid-core as opposed to the lower industry standard ACX grade softwood plywood used by other manufacturers. In addition, to hand laying the fiberglas, we also hand apply a gel coat for color and to add additional strength to the finished material. This process of making fiberglass reinforced plywood results in a material strength and performance that is the sum of the materials exceeding either the plywood or the fiberglass. Other manufacturers merely glue prefabbed fiberglass sheets to the plywood, not increasing the material performance. Fiberglass reinforced plywood is the best material for impact strength and exposure tolerance, wears better and is 1½ to 2 times stronger than traditional ABS plastic laminated plywood cases

DYNALAM

DynaLam ATA 300 cases provide unsurpassed function and economy in product support and reliability. Similar to our DynaCase product, but exterior panels are manufactured with high impact ABS (Acrylonitrile-butadiene styrene) plastic laminated to the solid-core hardwood plywood. High impact ABS plastic is both economical and durable. We apply the same quality manufacturing principles found in our line of DynaCases. DynaLam is a high performance, but lower cost alternative to our fiberglass reinforced plywood cases.

DYNALITE

DynaLite is a lighter weight ATA style case using corrugated plastic--a true corrugated High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Plastic, with two complete faces and a true fluted middle sheet. At ¼" thick, this material is rated the equivalent of a 1500# burst strength triwall fiberboard box. Our competitors use other plastic sheeting that is extruded with flutes at 90° angles to the face. True corrugated plastic is a superior material for strength, impact resistance and durability versus extruded, and HDPE is pound for pound the best material for strength and durability while maintaining the economy of weight. DynaLite cases using HDPE corrugated plastic is 30% to 40% lighter than laminated plywood.

If your product or packaging has trouble meeting UPS or FED EX shipping weight restrictions or your product is too valuable to trust to cardboard; DynaLite cases are a great alternative.

A NOTE ABOUT OUR CASE CONSTRUCTION

All of our cases are first manufactured as a box with all joints permanently joined (DynaCase and DynaLam are glued and stapled, DynaLite are heat welded). The joints are reinforced with steel riveted aluminum edging. This results in a true reinforced case that will take any punishment your (or others’) supply chain can give it. Competitors use a cheaper method of tongue and groove aluminum extrusions to hold the panels in place creating weak links in their cases.

All of our exterior panels are assembled with strong, solid components and reinforcements, the interior is a custom-designed shock absorbing polyester and/or polyethylene foam pack. Many custom styles and options are available. Take a look at our features and Options here.
